This model is known in collecting circles as the Chevron because of the way the case appears to display the company's logo.
The word Lord in Lord Elgin signified Elgin's premium line of watches which featured higher jeweled movements and more desirable cases. The 21 jewel 6 adjustment caliber 719 movement is the highest grade movement used in the direct read Elgin watches.
It is all original down to both hour and minute disks and the winding crown and is in very pleasing condition, nicer than most that you find.
Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the movement and installed an original new-old-stock crystal.
For the finishing touch we have installed a new high quality crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
